The PowerShot V10 can be used for high-quality movie recording, livestreaming, and even as a webcam. The camera is well equipped with many connectivity features from live wireless or wired streaming to remote control and cloud services.
As well as using USB-C for computer connection, powering the camera or charging; UVC and UAC support allows the camera to be used as a high quality webcam for video calls and streaming.
Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth allows the use of the Canon Camera Connect app to import videos and photos, remote control and Livestreaming to Facebook and YouTube. Livestreaming with the app is easy thanks to the direct access option on the new Home screen designed for the PowerShot V10.

Videos as well as photos can be transferred to popular services like Google Photos, Google Drive, YouTube, Flickr, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, Frame.io.
1. The built-in stand enables setup at an angle of -30° to -10° for high-angle shooting and 10° to 30° for low-angle shooting.
2. Using Movie digital IS results in cropped movies. Cannot be combined with auto level, digital zoom or with Smooth skin mode.
3. The electronic wind filter is on by default to reduce audio distortion in windy outdoor scenes. To further enhance the sound quality in those situations we recommend using the bundled Windshields.
4. Such access may involve third-party fees, such as Internet service provider charges, telecommunication charges or third party charges. Stream quality depends on your upload speed, mobile data service, availability, coverage.
5. A stable Wi-Fi connection in a less crowded 2.4GHz wireless space with fast upload speed is recommended for best results.
6. Stronger Smooth Skin effect will reduce the resolution of eyelashes, hair and other areas adjacent to the skin.
