High-Quality Core Technologies
In addition to rendering crisp images, the remarkable Leica Dicomar lens produces the subtle nuances and shading that Leica lenses are renowned for, with minimized ghosting and flaring. By increasing the read-out speed of the recording, the advanced BSI sensor with approx. 8M effective pixels suppresses distortion to give an accurate rendering of the scene. The crystal engine 4K features a high-speed, large-scale integrated circuit to process the huge volume of 4K data quickly and accurately while reducing noise.
Level Footage at All Times
The level shot function automatically detects and corrects the tilting of images so you can shoot carefree. The setting can be adjusted to one of three levels off, normal or strong for the shooting condition.
Clear, Blurless Results
Hybrid O.I.S.+ uses five-axis correction to thoroughly suppress blurring caused by unwanted shaking whether you are shooting with a wide angle or at high zoom. This lets you capture crisp, clear images in 4K and other formats, in virtually every shooting situation.
Wireless Multi Camera
Enjoy a new kind of shooting style that lets you add even more emotion to your movies. Using Wi-Fi, you can link to as many as three smartphones and simultaneously record up to two of them as sub-windows. These sub-window images can be interchanged, and their display positions can be switched. This lets you shoot from a variety of angles and viewpoints, to capture a higher level of emotional impact.
HDR (High Dynamic Range) Movie
Enjoy crisper, clearer videos thanks to the HDR movie function. It combines two images taken with different exposures to suppress blown highlights and blocked shadows. Even in difficult shooting situations, such as backlighting, you can easily capture natural videos with excellent gradation. A dedicated HDR button enables quick mode changes when necessary.

A Great Camera for a Great Price!
I bought two of these camera over a month ago and all I can say is that it a great bargain. To own a 4K video camera at the price I bought is just wow. Crystal clear video recordings is all I wanted. Multi-functions of the canera works splendid such as the wireless multi-cam, HDR function etc. The battery life is also great as it lasts me around 2 1/2 hours of recording.
So if you want a great 4K video camera for a bargain, then the Panasonic HC-VX980 won't let you down.

Not a very happy experience
This camera was a Christmas present but it doesn't read the SD card so I have to return it to get another one. In a few days, maybe I'll be able to give a proper review.
