Now, you can control your hot water tank with the Nest Thermostat. The Nest Thermostat now has a ring to fit any home’s style. Black blends in with dark walls and stylish decor. And white looks great in simple, modern homes.
It Lights up when You Walk into the Room
Now the Nest Thermostat does something new. It’s called Farsight, and it lights up to show you the temperature, weather or time. You can even choose a digital or analogue clock face. Farsight is big and bright on the beautiful display you can see it from across the room.
A Nest Home
Nest products are made to work together. And they can even work with lights, locks and other products in your home. If your Nest Protect senses smoke or carbon monoxide, your Nest Thermostat can display an alert. Your thermostat can also shut off the heating system to help keep the danger from spreading.

OK but prefer hive
This came with my boiler which I thought would do the same job as the hive I had in my previous house but alas no. I work early shifts and one day I was up earlier than normal and put the heating on. Seemed one day was enough to work out my pattern. Sure it's easy enough to remove the planned schedule and let it work it out again but seems a lot of hassle. Also miss my boost function. There's no way of turning it on for a short period. Then turning on the heat you run the risk of it remembering that time and turning it on everyday at that time. This seems very negative but overall its actually ok just not what I was expecting

It's great having a thermostat that can be controlled via your mobile, but there are many other devices on the market that enable you to do that now. We went with Google Nest 3rd Generation, despite being the most expensive option, because we thought Google would have created some fantastic software to go with it. However, it's not as advanced as we thought, the 'learning' is pretty basic and actually quite annoying (we've reverted to creating a schedule using their very fiddly system), and it could have lots of really fantastic features/integrations that it doesn't. Overall, it feels overpriced, behind the times for Google and we expected more than what we've got.

New to Nest
Having had Hive controlling our last boiler system and not being too happy about having to contact Hive if a problem occurred, we went with Nest for the new boiler in our new home.So far, despite the electrician having problems (his not Nest), it all seems to work very well. I can use Google Assistant to alter the stats temp. setting. In the mornings, it estimates how long it will take for the set temp to be achieved and brings on the heating that bit earlier so the house is at temp. at the scheduled time. It knows when no-one's home so doesn't switch on the heating unnecessarily.I'm so pleased, I've decided to stick with Nest for more Smart stuff. Wifi extenders are next.

Its getting hot in here...
Love this product! Fits well into my Google family of products. Integrates seamlessly into the Google Home and Nest apps and super easy to set up on anther phone that's part of the same Google Home family. Great display on the thermostat, easy to use. Love how it lights up when you walk past (currently displaying the weather on mine). The app is brilliant and the whole thing is very intuitive. It learns well to build a heating schedule and there's no more getting into bed and having to go down 2 floors when I realise I've left the heating on! Great product, easy to use, the app is simple and I love it!

Good product but dogged by issues
Let me start by saying I really love the product. Had one in my old house and when I moved to my new house I bought two more. One is fine but the other I sent back because the farsight function stopped working. Took 3 attempts for DHL to finally accept the shipment because they kept failing the battery label inspection. Now I've had to send back this replacement because of a w5 wifi error. Am being sent another head unit. Customer support have been helpful and I can't fault them but the hardware and QC clearly needs looking into. Slightly disappointed as I have other products in the Google ecosystem.

Dial up Simplicity
I have a Nest upstairs and a Nest downstairs, operating my conventional radiators and hot water. I have underfloor heating in my kitchen/diner/family room which was wirelessly controlled via 3 separate thermostats, all of which you had to program....all of which frequently disconnected from the wifi!I have now had a 3rd Nest installed to operate my underfloor heating. It is SO EASY. No complicated programming, and it is smart. It learns your movements and switches off when you are not home. Love being able to operate all 3 of my nests from my phone too. Definitely the future for thermostats.

Well worth the money
I saw benefit from the nest thermostats we had installed from day one. The fact it constantly monitors the temperature in the home and only turns on the heating if the temperature dips below your minimum setting is a massive benefit. Now the heating hardly ever comes on as the house is at a good temperature, saving us money. Furthermore the air quality in the house has improved as the air is not so dry due to the excessive heating that was happening before. The next thermostat is super easy to use from the Thermostat itself or the app. This is a stark contrast to the old thermostat which needed a manual to use. I thorougly recommend this product from an ease of use, air quality and money saving perspective.

Google Nest
Dreadful experience. My heating broke down on the 18th December 2021. After the first Google Nest i purchased done an update, the Nest refused to link onto my wifi and would not work. Google told me to get a Nest Installer to remove it and buy a digital clock to get my heating to work and in the meantime they would send out a new thermostat and heatlink. They refused to pay for the removal and re-installation and purchase of the Digital Clock. i sent the invoice many times but they still refuse to pay. DO NOT BUY THIS NEST LEARNING THERMOSTAT
