Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as good as the original Hub purchased in 2019 I purchased this hub to replace the old cylindrical hub that I got when I bought the Hive system back in 2019. I thought it might have been a simple installation - just unplug one and plug in this and all would be fine. Alas, this was not the case. I had to go through a convoluted set-up that required me contacting the Hive Customer Support (who were very efficient) to have them unlink the original Hub. I couldn't commence set-up until the old Hub had been removed from my Hive account. I then had to reconnect every single device to the new hub. It was a timely set-up (approximately 1 hour). Now the only issues I am having is in connecting to the Hive system through my Echo Dot (Alexa) and Google Home (Hey Google). The connections are still not working through voice. Neither of the systems are able to respond to my voice directions as before. I have removed all connections via the apps to the old system but still this is not working. I hope to spend a little time on this at the weekend to try to sort out. The only problem I had with my old hub was that the metal plug connection became loose and could not power up when plugged in. I possibly should have looked into a repair before purchasing this. I might still do so.

Can’t wait for delivery or don’t want to pay additional delivery charges? It’s incredibly simple to collect your online order in store and get your hands on your product quickly and easily. Simply select the Click & Collect option and head to your nearest Harvey Norman store to collect your order.

  1. During checkout, select “Click & Collect” and select your preferred store.
  2. After your order is placed, you will receive an order acknowledgement email with your order number.
  3. Once the store has confirmed your order and reserved the stock, you will receive an email to inform you that your order is “Ready for collection”. If you want to use "Contactless Click & Collect" select this option on this email.
  4. Bring your order number to the store you selected for Click & Collect, along with photo ID and the credit card you used to make the order.
  5. Speak to one of our staff and your order should be processed in minutes.
  6. If availing of Contactless Click & Collect, please click the link in your email “ready to pick up” to let the store know you are on your way. When you have parked in the designated parking bay, open your email, and choose the “I’m here” option and a member of staff will bring your purchase out to your car.
