If you don't want subscription based alarm system from one of the suppliers then this is probably your best bet as this is reliable and prompt in notifying you if ever anything goes wrong. You can buy additional contact sensors as well as motion sensors to increase the security in your house and it goes well with a video doorbell and an additional indoor camera. I personally think you don't need anything else apart from this.

Can I buy batteries for door and window entry sensor?

The sensors in the Eufy Security 5-Piece Home Alarm Kit (T8990321) use the following batteries: Motion Sensor: CR123A battery Entry Sensors: CR2032 batteries These batteries are designed to last for a significant period, with the motion sensor typically lasting up to 2 years and the entry sensors up to 1 year.
