Great printer
I bought this printer a few days ago along with some paper. I didnt have cd rom and was guided by the website on how to download the software. Im not very tech savvy and was delighted with how easy it all was.
I did need to purchase a specific cable to connect to the laptop. Its a logik LUSB 1.8m.
Highly recommend this printer. Cheap and efficient.

Good, but you need a usb cable
It's a nice and fast equipment with very good quality printing and scanning results. The only downside is that you need a cd reader to install the software and you need a USB cable (not included) to use it.

Found this printer brilliant. I actually had a wireless one than I bought in September but went out and bought this one and I have found it much more suitable and have no issues with it. Very user friendly printer. So easy to use. Highly recommend this printer PIXMA MG2551S

Total waste of time and money
Buying this printer was a total waste of time. I knew it was not wireless but assumed the printer cable would be supplied... had to return to Harvey Norman to buy a cable for the extortionate price of €14.94. The printer never connected to my laptop (recently bought at HN). I brought it to my local computer shop which could not make the connection between the laptop and printer successfully. I brought it back to HN where they also could not make the connection between the laptop and printer successfully, and even tried to charge me to do so on the basis that it was a software problem (despite hours having been spent by me and by the computer shop unsuccessfully downloading the driver software). Eventually I asked for a refund which I received. Despite having been a loyal customer of Harvey Norman for many years, I am totally disappointed with the Harvey Norman experience on this occasion.

Easy to use but no cable provided
Printer is easy to use and set up and is value for money as a budget option, considering 2 ink cartridges included. The device works well, with the scanner performing particularly well. There was no cable in the box, luckily I had the cable from my old printer that I could use.

Printer within a budget and easy to install
This printer is within my budget. It's easy to installed, my laptop is mac so i need to download online. At first I had hard time to install the model because I cant find the model but finally figure it our with series. Need a separate usb cable not included. With ink provided black and colored.I check how much is the ink and its affordable so i decided to purchased this.The weight is light and handy.
