WISH IT PRINTED DOUBLE SIDED.
I am happy with the ink system in this printer. There are a couple of things I don’t like better than my old printer.
1. Having to print with HP Smart print is not always easy. On my old HP I could just select print from a doc for example. Don’t seem to be able to do that now - have to save the document first.
2. The first page takes ages to get to print.
3. It doesn’t have the option to print double-sided. Such a waste of paper. Obviously I should have read the full spec more carefully but this is the thing that makes this printer “average” for me. Wish I had spent more for the next model up.

Cheap to run
So far a better printer & cheaper to run than my old HP6100 series. I have 2 issues however, the first is the capacity of the paper tray, its abysmal, the second is that the printer advertises double sided printing, I assumed it was similar to the 6100, which automatically printed the reverse side of pages. Unfortunately the 5100 require manual removal of 1st side printed & then replacing that side into the feed tray correctly, the diagram provided is very misleading & makes double sided printing cumbersome & slow. Not impressed at all with that issue.

Liquid Ink NO Expensive cartridges.
I purchased this about a month ago. Spectacular bit of kit. Fast printing and sharp no blurs or ink bleed.
Liquid ink tanks a great bonus. No more expensive cartridges. Very satisified with my purchase and recommend it to anyone.

Returned it after 10 days
quite disappointing. Difficult to get set up and only printed black and white for some formats while colour for others. Difficult to find any solutions to fix issue. Have returned the product
