Overpriced and not great quality
Bought this recently and wished I hadn’t. The white laminate chips very easily and although there are holes pre-drilled for the screws, they aren’t quite big enough. As soon as you use the screwdriver to secure them, the edges round the holes cracks and chips immediately. The drawers were also a nightmare. The salesman warned me about making sure the runners for them were put in the right way round. I followed the instructions to the letter and the drawers still don’t fit properly. I gave up and I’m using the desk out of necessity minus the drawers. Disappointed with my purchase and definitely not worth the money.

Nice but not worth the price & effort
There’s flat pack and then there’s this desk! It’s a nightmare, far too many pieces for the price. It’s really could have come part assembled with maybe the legs to be attached. Once assembled the drawers are very stiff and hard to open and close. There were a couple of marks on the desk but we couldn’t deal with returning it to have to assemble it again. All in all the price does not reflect the quality.

Very difficult to assemble
I bought this just over a week ago and was dismayed to see it is a total flatpack, not what I expected. The drawers have to be assembled. The fittings to allow the door slide in and out have to fitted both to the drawers and the drawer cavity. It took hours and in the end we gave up trying to get the drawers to work. Looks fine but very disappointed

Better value out there
Difficult to assemble and the drawers are very stiff and do not fit correctly. I thought I did something wrong on first assembly so had another go and one of the drawers does not close properly. Bought a similar desk in woodies for less and it was a much better purchase and easier to assemble

Bea Study Desk Review
Desk arrives as a flat pack. Assembly instructions are quite good and the materials & manufacture of the various pieces are certainly adequate for the job. The 3 drawers are useful stowaways for pencils, pens , stationary, staplers etc.
The legs are made of metal & very sturdy. After purchasing & assembling one for my eldest child, I purchased 2 more for my other children.

Assembly takes longer because the instructions could better
The finished product is fine, and as advertised. However, I gave it a lower review because (a) the assembly instructions were poor which lengthened the assembly time. I would suggest the Ikea assembly instructions are a better standard. Also, there are three drawers and the insert process for them is more complicated than it needs to be as the drawers aren't identical (they shoule be) and the instructions aren't clear enough again on which drawer fits into which slot. It took a few attempts before I got it right.
