Ecodry Technology

The filter system and the maintenance-free heat exchanger keep energy consumption and run time low. Miele EcoDry technology guarantees long-term low energy consumption and short drying times. Thanks to the effective interaction between the patented1 Miele filtration system and the maintenance-free heat exchanger, fluff cannot clog up the heat exchanger, which would otherwise cause blockages and reduce power output over time. With EcoDry, Miele heat-pump dryers constantly work economically – over the entire life of the appliance.

Fragrancedos

Freshness for all the senses: with Miele you not only have very bouncy, but also beautifully fragrant laundry. Miele fragrance flacons – available in various fragrances – perfume your laundry with your favourite scent during drying. A family-run company in the south of France, which has been creating perfumes since 1871, produces fragrances for Miele. Using a patented process, their perfume specialists ensure that the essential oils in the perfume are preserved. The result: fresh laundry with a natural fragrance that lasts for up to 4 weeks.

Energy Efficiency

Best Miele performance: with optimum energy efficiency, you can achieve maximum efficiency and excellent results. This is how environmentally friendly drying can be: all Miele tumble dryers achieve at least the A++ energy efficiency class. Many models are even 10 % more economical than the threshold value (24) for the best energy efficiency class A+++. This is made possible by a new floor module with an optimised cooling circuit. So now you can dry more sustainably and efficiently than ever before with Miele.

Perfectdry

With this system, your laundry dries perfectly – even if the water contains significant amounts of calcium. This is by no means the norm on machines without PerfectDry as the calcium content in the water influences residual moisture sensing – in turn impacting on drying results. PerfectDry takes the current calcium content of water into account and precisely adjusts the drying process, ensuring that the selected drying level is always achieved.

Maintenance-Free Heat Exchanger

In Miele heat-pump dryers, the heat exchanger is protected by an effective filtration system and does not require cleaning. This ensures that energy consumption stays low continually for the complete service life of the appliance.

Anti-Crease Action

If you cannot remove your textiles immediately after the programme end, anti-crease action ensures that the laundry is loosened at regular intervals and does not crease.

Honeycomb Drum

The unique honeycomb structure lifts the laundry higher in the rotating drum. Items hover for longer in the warm air stream which results in more uniform drying. Air pockets form in the individual hexagons and cushion the fall of laundry. This ensures that your laundry is treated much more gently and is less creased after drying making ironing easier. It also simplifies ironing considerably.

Heat-Pump Technology

Tumble dryers with heat pumps are known predominantly for their energy efficiency. They dry your laundry especially economically. But the low temperatures of the heat-pump technology also protect the high-quality fibres of your laundry. This allows you to dry delicate textiles with convenience.

Highest Condensation Efficiency

Being leak-proof is very important with regard to the quality of a tumble dryer. The less moist, warm air escaping from the appliance, the higher the condensation effect. High levels of moisture escaping into a closed room are also very unpleasant: condensation on walls can result in mould and damage the fabric of a building.
