Super, Stylish & Sleek!
I've had a Bosch for nearly 25 years, it still worked, but It was high time I replaced it with one with a bigger drum & spin speed. I chose this model as I don't like black doors! Why are Bosch & other manufacturers mainly going for black doors? Can Bosch design team create a door that is more flush to the machine too?
Anyway, this one had a 9kg drum & 1400 spin speed, just what I was looking for. Good performance, clothes are cleaner & come out dryer & it looks stylish!
I wish as it's a large 9kg drum, it had a drum light as in the Series 6.

First Impressions
A quiet drive with the audible 'slap slap slap' of the water or clothes in the safe hands of the secret dhobi-wallas inside. However people of small stature and long arms have the advantage when picking out the odd sock from the back of the drum. The spin cycle is very stable and also quiet. However the outer door face could do with an anti-static treatment and will not allow an accurate inside temperature to be gauged however hard I tried. I look forward to a happy life relationship with this professionally presented piece of technology!

Great machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our older (12year) Bosch washing machine finally needed replaced after many years of faithful service. This new machine has a more modern look, the operation is just as simple but with more functions, it's more eco friendly with a Grade A status. Water management is improved and it's quiet, really quiet. The 9kg load capacity is great as we generally only wash once a week due to there being just the two of us now, but when we need to put all the bed linen in it copes no problem.
We are very happy with it so far and have extended the warranty to 5 years, but the reality is that our old bosh machine needed no fixing in the 12 years we had it so there should be no reason this one will be any less reliable.

Registering machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To register for the 5 year warranty, firstly I had to wait while the iPad took ages. When I thought I needed to repeat the process it suddenly told me I was registered.Then I needed to find the FDA's and Z numbers. Eventually I found an obscure note saying these are on the INSIDE door of the appliance. I didn't guess that! I have wasted over an hour on this, and feel Bosch could have been far clearer, preferably adding this information to the instruction pack.

Replacement washing machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to replace my old Bosch Exxcel, which I loved. I'd had it for 11 years with absolutely no problems. Reliability is very important to me so wasn't going to waste time looking at other brands. Have bought serie 4 with a 9kg drum and am really pleased with it. Bigger drum is great when washing bedding, mostly using the quick wash setting with a 1200 spin. Quieter than old machine and aesthetically pleasing.

Really pleased with the purchase
Really pleased with the purchase so far. We were predominantely looking for a machine that would be quiet as we have an open plan kitchen/livingroom and this one really is. It hardly moves when spinning as well which is a welcome change from our previous machine.
Other things we appreciate: Being able to set the temperature and spin speed separately, and the reload feature (came in handy multiple times since purchase).

BOSCH Series 4 washing machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brilliant: Easy to use. The dial has a good choice of washing cycles to choose from plus the added option of the iron assist which saves on ironing shirts and t shirts.
washing comes out clean even on the short wash cycle. I find the 9kg a good size drum takes king size bedding plus other garments easily.
It is very quiet a pleasure to use would highly recommend.

Excellent, you don't need to spend more

Bit ealry to say about build quality - looks very promising, no flimsy bits, door shuts nicely. Installer has been putting series 4 washing machines for years - never had to revisit hence confidence is high
