Disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first time that we used our hob to fry some chops the extractor could not cope. It failed to extract the smell from the food adequately. Since then, whenever we switch on the extractor it gives off a foul greasy smell. We now no longer use the extractor when cooking because of this smell that is given out.

Great design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this product for almost a year and I love the way it fits with the contemporary lines of my kitchen. Our kitchen fitter did have to bring out the units further from the wall as the unit depth is more than the average kitchen cupboard units. However, the end result looks really good.

Comes without recycling kit
I have just purchased the NEFF D57MH56NOB extractor hood and discovered it is not supplied with the recycling kit. As it's classed as an 'accessory' our supplier doesn't stock it so we have to order elsewhere. It's like supplying a torch without batteries.

Could be better
This is a powerful extractor and yet it doesn't seem to be able to cope with steam from pans on the front of the hob underneath it.
The filters are rather flimsy and not very easy to extract.
