We supplied a cooked to a customer who has complained bitterly to Zanussi - had several engineers out, who said it is fine, but every time she bakes the items come out burnt on one side....what can we do about it? Any ideas? It is complaint no. TG7886002 She is really angry about it, as it has been going on for months and nothing resolved.

It would be unrealistic to expect results to be perfectly even, but our Technical Team advise that if one side is browning significantly more than the other then there could be a problem with the fan as described. If one engineer's visit has not solved the issue, it may be that another is needed. If that still does not help, and the appliance has received 3 COMPLETED repairs without resolving the issue, the customer may be able to consider exchange. The exact nature of that would have to be discussed with the In Warranty our Out Of Warranty Team (depending on the product).

I am just relaxing my zanussi cooker with the same one, to keep it cleaner can you use oven liners? Plus I have always left my grill door open when grilling, surely you do to keep checking it, why is it an !

I can confirm that an oven liner could be used with this appliance, though not a metallic one. Grilling must be with the oven door closed on electric cookers. These changes were implemented in 2008. All new cookers and ovens have a cooling fan above the grilling element and temperature sensor inside the oven, in order not to overheat the appliance. If the grilling is done with oven doors open, then the heat may damage units around the cooker as well as the controls of the cooker.
