Automax Function:
The zone operates on the highest setting in the beginning and then reduces down to the pre-set level.
Child Safety Control Lock:
To maximise kitchen safety, this lock can be activated to prevent the hob from being turned on accidentally.
Control Lock:
This will prevent any alteration or activation of the hob's settings; simply lock the controls once the cooking functions have been selected. It can also be used to lock the hob in the off position for added safety.

Should have done this sooner
Was using a gas hob, hot handles, wasted heat, ages to boil...... sound familiar? Induction by AEG is controllable and fast with cool pan handles. Instructions are rubbish though so watched some videos on line. Marked design down as distance between centres on LHS of hob only suits very large pans and not great with circular so look for rectangular pans if you want to use the plates in combination (hob to oven etc). Quality wise everything was delivered perfect but they have a very, very delicate seal material on the underside which is too easy to damage when fitting. Once its in though not an issue.

Replacing gas hob.
Happy I made the switch from gas hob to induction. Does take a little time to get used to it. I have added a hob protector which so far works fine to cook on but may not be necessary if your careful. You will see fingerprints on the controls but so easy to clean. My worktop cutout was a little bit tight and I had to remove 1cm from the front edge of the worktop.
For me this unit was not cheap but its seams to be a well made unit well worth the price and looks great in the kitchen.

Sleek design and amazing features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What at amazing upgrade for our kitchen! The design is super sleek, modern and minimalist and fits perfectly with our modern kitchen. Couldn’t be happier with the finely tuned heat control and the boil stop function! Something that really used to annoy me with our previous hob, can’t wait to put it to the test on next pancake day, which I find is the ultimate test for a good hob. I am so impressed so far that I am planning in purchasing the hob extractor that connects with it and turns on automatically as and when needed.

Best hob I’ve purchased.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bough this hob as I had a new kitchen installed and old hob was 8years old. Wow it is amazing. It heats up very quickly so great if in a hurry.
This hob is very good looking and very sleek. I absolutely love the sense boil, the amount of times I had food boil over with my previous hob. The 14 different heat settings are perfect for cooking anything and caters to everyone's needs. The Booster function is handy and effective. I love that two zones can join together to enable you to larger pans, skillets, grill plate and oval pots..
The hob was very easy to install. The instructions on how to use the hob are very informative. I was so impressed with the Hob and the usability that I have bought a new oven and extractor that connects with it and turns on automatically as and when needed. So that they all match.
Would I recommend this hob clearly simple answer is yes I would.

Well-designed and strong induction
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are just installed induction from very old induction. And it changed our kitchen as modern style. It's very stylish and seamlessly designed.
Also, It is very easy to clean and safe due to the fact that it only heats, when appropriate pan is on the hob.
Also child lock is key options for our baby!
Furthermore, It was only took 2mins until the water gets boiling for my noodles.
