Dual Speed Convection

Great table top small oven.
The Smart oven is excellent and as I have an Aga It will be my main oven for 2 of us in the summer. I was replacing a table top oven I have had as a small grill and fan oven for 18 years.
The settings are fantastic especially reheat and warm and Pizza crisped well.
I have slow cooked belly pork—in roasting pan 1/2 filled with stock at 110:for 3 hrs and it was the best we have had—crisp top on grill at end.
Air fryer is a learning curve and Sage need to give us the recipe for those beautiful golden chips in the advert as I have soggy so far but I did manage great bang bang prawns. Please recipe Sage.

Sage Smart Oven Air
Recently purchased this oven, mainly for the air fryer function. Of the features I've used so far all have functioned respectfully, I've made toast 4 slices, cooked a pizza and sauteed potatoes using the air fryer function and they were really nice, crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, have also baked a cake, toasted a tea cake using the crumpet setting, grilled bacon so basically it does what it says on the tin and well.
Why only four stars then, well Sage should have given the UK the bigger Breville version which has a couple more features is larger so would have been even better. For a single person or a family of two this is an ideal buy if you don't want or need a full sized oven.

I use it every day!
I would rather have had the larger US model as that also has a dehydrator, but can't complain about the functionality of this one. It bakes, roasts grills and air-fries food quickly and evenly. I also use it to slow cook overnight and have had perfect results. I hardly ever use my gas range cooker now.
I would have knocked off one star because of the drip tray is difficult to clean after using the air-fryer with anything that drips (almost everything!), however the customer service was excellent when I asked how to clean it and they sent me a new tray. Now I will put always put a roasting tin underneath.

So so smart!
We have been using this taster oven air fryer for about 2 weeks and we looove it! It's perfect for small meals for 2-3. I like to use it instead of frying a s making a mess and instead of turning on our large oven to make just a small meal. The only feature I wish it had is dehydration for fruit, but other than that it's wonderful! Our fries come out crispy and pizzas great along with perfect toast. It comes with one air fryer basket which is so practical. I would love to buy another basket but done see it as an option as an accessory item to buy. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who would like to make crspy fries with out the mess or to anyone that would like to soon a quick meal without having to fire up a large oven!

Fantastic multi oven
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky enough to try this oven for free as part of a campaign. Well what can I say about this multi oven... FANTASTIC... I especially love the airfry function, it preheats and cooks fresh chips in 15 minutes, this oven has a reheat, pizza, crumpet, bake and slow cook function on it, I would highly recommend this oven to anyone, it's also only the size of a microwave so fab space saving

It does the expected job, nothing more
For the price I would expect a better built appliance. The transformer has a constant buzzing noise so it MUST be turned off between usage to avoid migraine (not so bad, but we had intended on using it like the microwave)
Pro’s:
Heats up quickly enough and makes good chips, and is a fair oven alternative due to its reduced size etc when you are only cooking small amounts.
Cons:
Build quality does not match all other sage products and doesn’t have anything massively innovative like other appliances... and that incessant buzzing when not in use!!!!

Not impressed
Bought the air fryer to add to our collection of Sage items but unfortunately it’s not up to the usual Sage standards. When in use the item became scalding to touch with smoke coming out of the top and side, so not ideal if you have children or pets nearby. Also to bear in mind that this is a very large item so with it becoming extremely hot and smoking you cannot position it near other items on your work surface. We decided to return it and get a refund.

The Smart Oven Air Fryer
This product is so versatile and efficient. Since buying it I have rarely had the need to use my main oven. I’ve baked biscuits & brownies - both were an improvement on the main oven bake. Roasting is so much quicker. Air frying is so good - vegetables are really crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. As too is the toast function - much better than our conventional toaster. I’m very excited about this product. I use it daily and would be lost without it. Smart appearance too and very easy to clean.
