The foodcycler reduces food waste by over 80%** of its original volume, transforming your food waste into sterile and odourless ecochips. The grinding bucket can contain up to 2L of food scraps that would be reduced to 0.34L ecoChips. foodscraps go from landfill to handfull in just a few hours.
3-Stage Foodcycler System
Using an automatic 3-stage cycle, the FoodCycler dehydrates, grinds and cools down your food waste while filtering odours and methane gasses. During the 'Drying' stage, your household food scraps are dehydrated and moistures removed. Then, during the 'Grinding' stage the blades pulverise your food waste into small particles. The 'Cooling' stage cools the resulting waste, the EcoChips.
Odourless Process And Storage
The two replaceable carbon EcoFilters™ direct and filter air flow during the process, making for a clean and odourless cycle. Prior to cycling and when food waste is stored in the bucket, the lid with integrated carbon filter helps reducing ambient odours.

Quiet And Low Energy Usage
The sophisticated sensor technology defines each individual cycle by monitoring the dryness and humidity of the food waste, allowing minimal energy usage with maximum efficiency. The FoodCycler uses an average of 1KW per cycle. On top of that, the Twist & Lock lid prevents noise (but also odours) during the process. As a result and while in operation, the FoodCycler makes less noise than a dishwasher.
Easy To Use One-Touch Operation
Load the bucket, lock the lid and press start. That's as hard as it gets. The one-touch operation start button makes it easy to use and the LED lights indicate the different cycles in progress. If you find that you have more waste to add to your cycle while the unit is running, you can also use the 'Pause' feature (only during the Drying phase).
Easy To Clean
The removable porcelain coated bucket is durable and is also dishwasher safe. This means it can easily be placed in the lower rack of your dishwasher for easy cleaning.

I love mine
I’ve had my food recycler for about 2 months now, not going to lie, I love it. All the food scraps go into it, and then I put it in my green bin. It’s made a massive difference as far as flys and maggots, they don’t bother with my wheelie bin anymore, because there is no food scraps for them. Filter price is a bit high tho so it’s something to consider. My filter change light has come on about 2 days ago, and you can smell what’s going on inside now.

Think before you buy wish I had
No good for a family it’s no where near
big enough even for two people mine doesn’t do chips as stated but strands that get stuck everywhere in the machine not worth the money if supplied with 2 waste bins one to keep in the machine and change when the other one is full. Two banana skins a couple of easy peelers skins and some strawberry stalks and it’s full great idea just wish I’d never bought it

Love mine overall but some things to keep in mind
I’ve had this a couple months and seem to use it daily. If you do a lot of fresh cooking it will fill up quickly. I discovered you should only fill about half way or 2/3 at the most. I was filling it too high and it was compost is damp and gummy, like mud. If you fill it half way, it comes out nice and dry. Main reason I got this was I was getting hoards of flys and maggots on my countertop which was disgusting. I live in a flat and taking the leaky compost bag down to the communal bin was very unpleasant. The compost bin was used by six other flats and was coated with fly eggs and clouds of flies and was really gross so this has been the solution to avoiding this. I give it 4 stars only because it doesn’t hold a lot and is quite large on the counter top. It would be advisable to get second bucket if you are a family.

Not durable, and the container has broke up less than 3 month
I brought it less than 6 month, and it is not first time for this problem happened. The container and its components inside will be easily to be separated and components will be lost. Remember this is not the first time, and they also request a deposit when I request a replacement during a first time

Love this
I feel good every time I use this machine. I have never thought that I wasted much food, but even so it’s great to feel I am improving even on that. Yes the bucket does feel quite quickly even though we had two people in the house, however I have my little compost bin so continue to store bits and pieces while the machine is doing its thing. I keep mine in the garage and just outside the garage door I have a leaded dustbin which I keep the lid ever so slightly tipped up to let air pass through, I tip my reduced waste into the bin pop over there of compost and every so often mix the whole lot together and just leave it to do its thing. Now I have ample compost for my plant pots and vegetable patch and which I dig in, and I have to say that my plants and vegetables are looking rather good. I wouldn’t even bother creating compost if I didn’t have a garden, I would still feel good if I tipped the granules from the cycler into my regular waste bin as it takes up so little room.
Yes the machine is a little pricey, but giving the benefits of this machine, it’s worth every penny. As yet, several months then, I have not had to buy filters maybe then I would have to look at the cost factor until then I am one happy customer.

Wow another sage HIT
I have been using sage products we have coffee machine, ice cream maker, and the oven for the summer months when the AGA is off. So we know the quality of SAGE I love to cooking and trying to cut waste I was reading a few articles about the food cycler and though it might be worth a try and well it is great it still amazes me how it managed to do what it does so quietly and efficiently and if you have an allotment or garden you can use the left over from the machine in the garden as well it’s win win

Super veggie composter - no more flies!
Excellent bit of kit - just wish you could do a super size version for us. Had a bizarre idea that we could turn the dried stuff into potpourri - added a few drops of essential oils and it really does work!!
