Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quality Ninja gives this a great write up. But the product just does not live up to it. The product looks nice, thats about it. It lack power to deal with most drinks. If you use fresh fruit in this, you spend more time unblocking the mixing blades. than making the drink. Power of the motor is just not up to the job. The motor is very poor and cannot see it lasting long. As for the battery life. Well on a good day you maybe lucky to get 3 drinks,Thats if it doe not stop mid drink. Battery life is very poor and this gives you limited use. Ive now put this back in the box, at the back of my cuboard. I woud save your money and another product. Not very good value for money this one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible battery issues - had two, both same Absolutely terrible product. I've had two of these now and they both have the same awful battery life. The first one - I charged it up all according to the instructions. From then on, I'd use it one and then the battery would die. So I'd charge it again and sometimes it still had the red light. I complained to shark and had it returned/swapped for another one. I have exactly the same issues with this one. I have used various chargers, cables etc and it's the same each time. Battery is always flat - it whizzes for 5 seconds then dies. Completely awful product likely made of cheap materials.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice little item Ordered on Monday and received it today, so quick delivery. It is a nice size, and the power was good for what I made: unfrozen banana, strawberry, grape and orange juice. I didn't have room for ice so will try it again tomorrow to see the power with that. As the fruit wasn't frozen (didn't have frozen to hand), I am not sure how it will perform there, but I can't see it being an issue; ninja are typically quite good blades. Only slight improvement would be for the blade area to be able to twist off for cleaning purposes; I don't know why companies think not being able to properly clean a food prep device is okay. The recipe area is non-existent on the ninja site, unfortunately, so look forward to that expanding for this item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Shakes [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was over the moon to receive this. We have the Ninja soup maker and the big Ninja 3 in 1 blender. Buy the wife was complaining that its a pain pulling out the bigger machines just for one drink for her. She wanted something small and compact enough for her pre work out shake. Then comes along this new cordless compact blender. My wife is beyond happy with it. It does exactly what she needs it to do. It's small enough to pop in her gym back and easy to clean. And the added bonus is after 2 hours of initial charging, it's completely cordless and can be used and mixed anywhere.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quiet and powerful [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great portable blender, does exactly what I need it to do. I read up on portable blenders that can blend frozen fruits etc and this has no problems at all - it’s perfect. It’s also quiet so I can blend in the office and usually takes the initial 30seconds to fully blend regardless of amount of frozen fruit and veg. Only reason for 4 not 5 star review is be great to have a warning if battery is low. As I took to work the other day and wouldn’t blend and flashed red to show battery dead, but I didn’t get an amber light or any warning on the prior blend the day before so would be helpful. Otherwise love it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed I bought this product as I have purchased other Ninja brand items and have been very pleased but this is very disappointing. If I use any form of frozen fruit or vegetables it fails with error code blade blocked (flashing orange). When using I always use two cycles as one does not blend effectively, which means the battery fails on a second smoothy. To say im disappointed us an understatement as I gave used competitors products without fail. I would not recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant little machine I bought this appliance purely for making myself a smoothie in the morning without the need to get the big blender out. This did not disappoint. It’s quick, easy and quiet. I use frozen strawberries, and on first use, as I was drinking, I did come across a lump of strawberry. I had only blended once, but the lump didn’t matter because I just hit the blend button again and once done, carried on drinking. I will be using this daily from now on! It would be nice if we could purchase additional tops for it if I wanted to make one for someone else at the same time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Initially good, but then.... A great gadget to start off with. I use it to blend Keto Coffee in the morning - great to go when you are running late. However almost 4 weeks in, washed it this morning, loaded it up with coffee to go and NINJA says NO. Orange lights - blades blocked apparently. Will not work even when scrubbed clean so I am not sure if the rotor is leak proof and something has got in there.
