Amazing product
I have wavy, rather unruly hair and I cannot for the life of me blow dry my hair. I also wouldn’t want to even if I could as hair dryers are bad for the hair condition. The Dyson air strait sounded ideal. I could dry my hair straight without damaging it. The main issue for me was the high price…but I bought one and I am delighted I did. It is an amazing product and does just what it says it does. I have had a keratin treatment before at the hair salon which was expensive but the Dyson is much better. I hate regular hair straighteners which damage the hair and make the hair weirdly straight. The Dyson is rather different - straight hair but thick and rather wonderful.

False promises
Its way too big, takes ages to dry roots before actually straightening.
It does nothing for smoothing my frizz and the best result I can get only lasts 2 minutes.
Considering the insane price tag I'm beyond disappointed. And I can't return it to the store because it's been over 2 weeks.
My advice, instead of wasting money on this just get a 12 week blow-dry twice a year and practice straightening with a normal hair dryer like the professionals do.

Not what I expected after reading all the hype
I found it very bulky & heavy from the plug to the actual hair dryer plates which makes holding the appliance difficult especially for someone with arthritis to the hands
It took me a while to work out the air flow in relation to which way I had to have the dryer plates on my hair to avoid the section of hair I was attempting to dry being blasted into an unruly mess once I worked it out it was ok I think all the demos I watched were of people who got it straight away or they missed trying to figure it out from the demo
It’s work in progress hence the three rating I’m still waiting to see if the cost equaled any benefit to how I usually did my hair which was letting my hair dry on its own and using the good old tongs

Would not recommend for 3a curls and above :(
The product didn’t work for me. I have bleached 3a/3b curls and layered, thick hair for context. After using the wet-to-dry mode as instructed, my hair looked like it had received a bad ‘poofy’ blowdry and did not last. I use high end heat protectant as my hair is prone to breakage, but still noticed a considerable amount of new split ends after using the airstrait. My hair also felt dry.
Saying this, the airstrait will probably work for you if you have wavy hair that’s on the thinner side. It’s a beautiful looking device that’s easy and quick to use, however the results of the blowdry / straighten didn’t win me over for the price tag.

Dyson Airstrait
I am reasonably happy with the product but somewhat underwhelmed. I do like that there is less damage caused to my hair, compared to traditional straighteners & time spent styling my hair is reduced also. Is the Dyson Airstrait a wonder product? In my opinion, no. Does it straighten my hair more noticeably than other straighteners? No. Would I advice anyone else to spend this kind of money? Probably not. Perhaps my hair is just too curly to be tamed!

Help required.
I bought this and I'm really struggling with it. My hair looks rough and fly away. I would really appreciate any advice or helpful tips. It's way too expensive to not be able to use.

I have very thick bleached hair
And it really did not deliver on straightening my hair
I’m had to send it back !

Best straighteners and kinder to my hair
I'd considered buying these for some time, as I use straighteners everyday and was mindful of the damage to my hair. I'd put all sorts of serums and split end creams to prevent further damage and whilst it helped, my hair still wasn't in great condition. I've got wavy unruly hair that's really frizzy so I looked for an alternative. I was quite dubious about Dyson straighteners as I didn't think they'd work as well as straighteners but there was no need for any doubts as the results are amazing.
This really was the best purchase I've made in a long time. Not only does it help prevent the damage previous straighteners made, but it feels softer and lighter. I'm so pleased with them. I'd 100% recommend.
