The Dyson Cooling Tower Fan is in a class all of its own. The ordinary fans just circulates warm, stale air which is suffocating. The Dyson creates fresh cool air. I have this fan located in my bedroom and keep it on the lowest setting at night; setting 1 and this is sufficient to create fresh, cool air in the stuffiest of weather. Prior to purchase, I read reviews on this product. I read a number of complaints regarding the light being too bright on the device and also that this product does not create cool air. Not so!

Excellent fan and aesthetically pleasing
Delighted with this unit. I bought it right in the middle of the July heatwave for working from home and for sleeping at night as my room had poor circulation and small windows. Although it it pricey, it looks great when compared against the standard blade fans and doesn't look out of place in a room but instead looks like a fancy piece of equipment. It goes from 1-10 and I have mainly been using it on 2, which will tell you how powerful it is. This has been a lifesaver for me.

Delighted with the Dyson Fan
Delighted with my new fan...it's very powerful & quiet...I haven't had a chance to test it when it's really hot yet, but I know it will be good, which is what you'd expect for the price...It's cheaper & much quieter than a decent Aircon unit.. having researched, I went for the fan only without the HEPA filter, which is more expensive & as it it has to go through the filter, makes the fan less efficient...

Disappointing
I really found this fan disappointing when I tried it as it is a little average for the price. It looks absolutely slick as do all Dyson products but is no quieter or effective than any other fan. The descriptions online say that it will cool down a room but this doesn't appear to be the case as it is only effective when it it is close to you and turned up high.

Just what I needed
This fan is one of the best that I've ever bought. I would normally have several fans going in my bedroom during the summer. Since I bought the Dyson Cooling Fan I have retired the rest - much to my partner's delight as several fans produce a lot of noise. The Dyson is much quieter and, with 10 speeds, I can regulate the coolness factor much better.

Necessary for humid days
This Dyson cooling fan is exactly what I need working from home on these very humid days. The sound is barely audible so doesn’t interfere with online meetings and it really does cool the whole room down.

It's a lifetime thing!
I have wanted one of these for a long time, so I treated myself to one for my birthday! Its brilliant as heating or cooling, cant complain it's a lifetime thing to have! Would highly recommend.

Pricey but worth it!
This fan is perfect for what we wanted. Far quieter than a conventional fan and doesn’t stick out in the room. Only criticism is the price, but worth it for the benefits that this fan brings!
