Buckingham Kettle
This kettle is good quality and seems very sturdy on the base. Just love the quiet boil and the quickness it comes to the boil, also being able to boil one cup makes this kettle an energy saver. The dual water window is a plus as depending on your power point it can be put either way and you can still see the water level. It looks very stylish with the blue light round the base and won't look out of place on any kitchen worktop.

Love this brand - Russell Hobbs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ever since I was raised as a child, we have always stuck with Russell Hobbs as the compliances within the kitchen lasts long and it’s such a good kitchen ware so I would never change to a different brand. Not only do I like their design and brand but they are well known within the UK! Our Russell Hobbs factory is nearby as well also the hospitality industry use this brand a lot especially, the kettles which my main useful amenities are the kettles - we had two and they both lasted long so I bought one for my friend as a gift as it was their first time moving to the UK!

Best kettle especially with 3 year guarantee
This is the s cond of these kettles I have purchased. Our previous one stood up to heavy use for almost 3 years until the spring that opens the lid failed. Overall very pleased with the appearance, design and performance of this kettle and would definitely recommend it.
I had registered the old (similar) kettle but had lost my proof of purchase, otherwise it would have been covered by the excellent 3 year extended guarantee.
I will definitely buy this model again if I need another kettle as it represents great value for money and is high quality.
One tip we found was that using filtered water kept the limescale away so the quiet boiling didn’t deteriorate over time

Not so quite
Had kettle since February 2015. Was really pleased as was looking for a quite boil kettle oh how wrong, it was excellent for roughly two months then the turbo kicked in and it started sounding like an aircraft I do descale on a regular basis then it goes back to quite for about two boils than back to turbo. It is a shame as it is a good looking kettle. Pours well from spout, filling with water good as lid opens. Be warned there is no such thing as a
quite kettle.

Great for a while, but.....
We're now on our second one of these kettles. The first lasted about 3 years after which it started cutting out well before it boiled and had to retired. The filter in the spout was constantly falling off, even when it was new . The very flimsy tooggle switch used to turn it on cracked after a few months, so also kept falling off, and had to be patched up with a cable tie.
Time for a new kettle.. God knows why we bought the same model again. This one has lasted just over 2 years and is now leaking from the translucent side panel that shows the water level. The same problem has occurred with the toggle switch as did with the previous kettle - clearly a long-standing design fault. At least the filter hasn't dropped off yet.
Something else to consider: these kettles don't stay quiet for long. Even descaling doesn't seem to make a difference. Goodness knows why.
Russell Hobbs used to be a byword for quality kitchen appliances. Now it seems to be a badge pasted onto cheap imports.

Very Stylish and a quiet boil
I love this kettle so much that I bought the exact one again when I had to. Very stylish looking and love the blue light up feature when boiling and its added feature of boiling quietly which is a bonus in open plan living

Lovely product
I really like this stylish kettle. It looks really compact although it holds the usual 1.7ltrs. The kettle is fixed with a suppressor which reduces the noise of the boiling water. It also has a measure inside showing fill marks for 1,2 and 3 cups. The kettle has a subtle blue light around the base which illuminates when it is switched on.
This kettle looks good and has all the features you would want in a kettle.

Would be better if it didn't leak
A nice looking, quiet and reasonably fast kettle that is let down by poor quality and therefore poor value for money.
Bought the first one Dec '21 and it started leaking at the side water level window after 9 weeks. Returned for a replacement Feb '22 and it started leaking at exactly the same place after 3 weeks. And there are many, many people reporting the same leaks and it has been going on for years.
There is something seriously wrong with RH quality control.
