I am sorry I bought this kettle !! It does not have a lid but rather a stopper which goes into the neck of the kettle. The stopper has a small filter and opening and if you do not align it correctly with the spout, you will not get water out of it or it will dribble out. It is also more noisy than any previous kettles we have had.

Very happy with Glass Kettle
Really like this kettle. We bought it as we wanted something with less plastic so it's great to have something made of glass. You can also totally remove the lid when pouring to avoid boiling water coming into contact with the plastic. It can be a little bit finicky to open but overall it's great and it pours really well.

A fine kettle
It’s one of the finests kettles I’ve ever owned. I’m absolutely trilled with it. Now I must admit I did use to drink about 3 cups of Barry’s tea a day and now I’m up to 5-6 but it’s worth it. I just love seeing the water bubble. Showing it off to all my friends. Thank you Harvey

Kettle
This glass kettle is a fantastic replacement for my previous one – I've had the exact same model before, and it's just as good! The clear glass is perfect for seeing the water level, and it's incredibly easy to clean. Highly recommend!

Lovely kettle
I was looking for a glass kettle for my new home and chose this one because it's pretty. Also Russell Hobbs are good, very little maintenance needed and rarely need repair. Was delivered extremely quickly, really good experience.

A nice light kettle
I like this kettle because it is light, which I need . I have two issues with this item , the lip for pouring water is very wide and when you take the lid of to refill the kettle it leaves a puddle of water on counter top.

Efficient good looking kettle
Good looking kettle and voila very fast. I like the option to add only one cup. 4 stars because it has condensation on the nside and that spoils the look a little. However I am hopeful that this will stop after a while.

Great Kettle, Lovely to look at
Great Kettle, this is the second time we have bought this model. The only reason we had to replace it was I had broken the glass on our original one. I’d definitely recommend it.
