Boils one cup in less than a minute...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this Russel Hobbs Distinction kettle in black to test and review through Influenster. This is an incredibly stylish 1.5L electric kettle that looks beautiful on my kitchen counter. It's retro stove top look with the colour bands are a simple way to tie in your kitchen gadgets. This stainless steel kettle is available in black, ocean blue and titanium. The rapid boil will get 1 cup of water to 100°C in less that 50 seconds. Perfect for times when you are in a hurry and this also reduces the energy usage, important to all of us during this current energy crisis. Highly recommend.

Boiling hot in my opinion
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful silver shiny kettle. It suits my decor as its silver with a little hint of black. It boils water fast and has a window to see how many cups to boil. If you buy this kettle don’t forget the lead is looped under the base, you do not have a really short lead. Also as time goes on it is easy to buy the filters for this brand as we have brought them for previous kettles so they last that bit longer. Absolutely love my new kettle as it’s just so easy to click on and use. It has an easy to lift lid to fill it up and a nice handle to hold. A good size for boiling large amounts for the pan. Highly recommend

Fabulous kettle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Distinctios Kettle in silver and black looks stylish on my kitchen countertop. The heatproof handle works and nothing leaks out from the spout when I pour the hot water into my cup. The kettle has automatic shutoff when boiled and has an internal marker so you can just boil one, two, or three cups of water, if you prefer. The base is 360 degrees, and the cord wraps around the bottom to keep it out of the way. The kettle also has a limescale filter at the spout so that if you do build up any liimescale, it won't go into your hot drink.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great kettle from a well known brand and it looks great and is well worth getting.
It has an attractive design and the metal stainless steel part is very shiny and looks more shiny than the listing shows.
It feels well made and strong and robust.
One of the things I have not seen in a kettle before is there are 3 fixed red little discs horizontally in the kettle marking where to fill if you want just 1 or 2 or 3 cups of water and I think this is a useful feature especially these days with more people not wanting to boil more water than required.
Overall well worth getting and a lot nicer looking than many cheaper mainly plastic kettles.

Decent and sturdy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good quality kettle. Surprisingly is not very heavy. Made of good materials (stainless steel) looks like it will last for years.
Boils water very quickly and is fairly silent comparing to my old kettle. It looks really nice and modern too.
Good, thick handle makes you feel like you have good grip when pouring water. The on/off button is pretty big and well made, it doesn’t seem like it can snap off easily (like with some cheap kettles).
It’s easy to clean as well just wipe it with a cloth.
The only thing I am personally not a fan of is the way it opens. I preffer the kettles with “click” button which opens the lid (hence one start less from perfect)

Big sized kettle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kettle is a large size, it's more wide than tall, so does take up a bit more space. The lid completely comes off for an easy full up. But after boiling to refill, the steam comes out where your hand is so its gets hot. The snout is big and wide so water comes out very fast. There are markers on the inside to help you fill up to where needed.
The down side to this was, my kettle is left in the sun and the metal surrounding got very hot from outside so it's a bit dangerous as my old kettle doesn't do this (also russel hobbs)

Great stylish kettle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kettle grabbed my attention with its blend of retro and modern aesthetics. apart from its stylish stainless steel appearance, i like that it boils quickly and is much quieter than my last one.
What i love about this kettle is that it has a removable anti-scale filter inside which reduces any limescale in the kettle. This is very easy to access and keep clean.
The cord is much shorter than im used too, but appreciate it's a a safety precaution.
Overall I'm really pleased with this kettle and would highly recommend it.

Rapid boil makes getting that cuppa in a hurry much easier
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic new appliance to add to my kitchen. I love that it has rapid boil, giving it the ability to reach up to 100° in 47 seconds, which is great when you're in need of your morning coffee ! Lovely easy pour spout, and the kettle itself is very lightweight and easy to handle. I love that it can also save up to 64% energy. The polished finish looks great in my kitchen.
