Beautiful design and practical too
We had seen this in a store and it was exactly what we wanted. It is a beautiful design, very well made and the soft open and close is wonderful. We had other kettles with supposed sift close, but they where often flimsy and did not last. Love the little bell that rings when it has boiled, handy if you work from home and go back to your desk.
The only tiny point that I would suggest, is a light or clearer marker for the water level

Can you have a love affair with a kettle?
As embarrassing as it is to admit, yes, I think you can. The solid, well crafted feel in the hand, the soft opening of the lid, even the delicate little ping as it finishes boiling, all contribute to our family’s fascination with this kettle. We find ourselves offering to make everyone else tea, even the teen! Pricey? - a little maybe, but reassuringly well made. Let the love affair continue!

Quality kettle
Good size kettle with excellent design. Positive on/off switch, very clear and readable water level; soft open lid and good spout that does not dribble down kettle body. The bell, indicating the kettle has boiled, is very useful when you are busy in the kitchen

Great looking kettle
This is my 3rd Sage appliance in black stainless steel, and they look great together (Luxe Toaster & Barista Pro). The kettle has great features, my favourite being the really comfortable handle closely followed by the gently opening & closing top.
