First impression
I would love this mocrowave to have a slide and hide door. Because it is a pull down door and sits above the oven, I can't reach inside it to either clean it or reach anything in the back half. We are going to have to rearrange the whole tall cupboard unit.
I'm totally gobsmacked that the microwave power options are 900 then 600. Nothing in between. Nearly all foods come with instructions for 750 and 800 power levels. This would be fine as I'm used to using 900 but the manual says only to use 900 for liquids and not food. What on earth were you thinking of?

I've just has the C1AMG84GOB installed. Somewhat disappointed to find there are plastic clips to hold the microwave shelf, which offers only two heights. As nothing should be placed on the base of the microwave, it somewhat restricts the height of anything you can place in the machine. More importantly to me, is the fact that the microwave, almost from the first install earlier in December, intermittently displays an E11 error, both whilst in use and not in use. Now trying to book a service call.

If I Had The Chance Again ....
Had a brand new kitchen fitted into a new extension . After much slog the kitchen and the appliances were meant to be the icing on the cake so the budget stretched to Neff and I thought , why not to my detriment. I should have done some research and read the forums. Second time in 3 months I have had to have an engineer out . 1st time was 2 weeks after installation for the stand alone over , faulty buzzing fan and lo and behold the exact same fault with the combi microwave. Have enough tension and stress re the building works and didn't need Neff , supposedly a premi brand to add to it. So hey ho another engineer visit on Friday , more wasted time waiting around etc which should be the case for 3 month " premium " appliances. So would I recommend erm no . Has anyone got a time machine I could borrow?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This year I have had installed a NEFF oven (B6ACH7HG0B), a NEFF microwave oven (C1AMG84G0B_GH) and a NEFF warming drawer (N17HH20N0B_SS). I am so thrilled with all of the appliances. My oven is perfect as it has the hide and slide door, which is perfect if you are on the slightly short side, as I am! The microwave oven is great to have, obviously because of the microwave, but the fact it's an extra oven should be be required. I have the oven above the microwave and they look fab together. My warming drawer is an added bonus and there's no need to worry about over cooking trying to keep everything warm. As I said earlier, I am thrilled with all of my new appliances and would recommned NEFF to anyone. They have appliances to suit all budgets, but even the lower priced are not inferior.

Badly designed wire rack
C1AMG84G0B model. You cannot slide the wire rack. You have to lift the the whole rack sometimes with a dish on it. This is dangerous. It is badly designed. Also my previous oven/grill you were able to remove the door making cleaning easier.
Can you use the micro option without the tray?

Don’t Buy This Model
The shelf is total rubbish and basically prevents you using it. It must have been designed by someone who doesn't cook! Overall the build quality is nowhere near as good as my 15 year old Neff combi. On first use it was so noisy it must be faulty, we await a repair.

More than a microwave
The variable wattage of this oven is useful. I also like the plate warming facility. As a second oven it's great as I can cook multiple things at the same time. The wire rack can be used in 2 ways- concave or convex which alters the height slightly.
