Description

The Dyson 360 Heurist robot vacuum has powerful suction to clean your home. Its intelligent vision system helps it to navigate, so the robot always knows where it is in the room. Time-of-flight sensors measure distances to help build a map of your home and continually check its position. The full-width brush bar means, wherever it goes, it cleans. And because it connects to the Dyson Link app, it gives you control from anywhere.

360° Navigation System

As it travels along, the robots sensors take a distance measurement every 20 milliseconds, so it always knows where it is and where it's yet to clean.

The 212mm-wide brush bar¹ stretches the full width of the machine so it cleans right to the edge of the robot.

LED Light Ring

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! Biught it a month or so ago and already proving to be a substitute for our conventional vaccum cleaner. Fascinating to watch as it moves around seeming to 'know' where it's going. I've only used the main vacuum cleaner up to now for 'above the floor' places and very occasionally around the odd floor edge. A minimal tidy up is needed to avoid moveable or loose items causing it to tangle or stop. The dust receptacle is fairly small so needs emptying before use. Great to be able to switch it on and walk away knowing it will do the job and send itself back to it's charge point when it's finished when using the mapping app. Expensive but already paying its way!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Short-lived usefulness I have a robot eye, the predecessor to the heurist. Over the last 2 years it has been very useful, and a real time-saver. However Dyson no longer make the replacement brush bar available, rendering the unit useless as this is the part that wears out the most, and is fairly critical to its operation. Despite several contacts with Dyson Support, my machine remains inoperable. So before spending a lot of money on a robot hoover that has so much potential, beware of Dyson's poor supply of spares, unless you want to buy a whole new unit in a couple of years. I'm back to using a regular hoover (for which worn parts are available).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Drudgery from cleaning removed! Although not the cheapest of vacuum cleaners it is very easy to use and highly effective with the depth of the suction. I haven't really explored all the features but the app is highly intuitive so wouldn't envisage issues. You just need to be careful to keep cleaning areas as free from obstacles as possible, one small gripe is it doesn't always cope as well with minor changes in floor levels and can come stuck in the process. However, once you have used a few times you know the vagaries of the cleaning areas so can adjust in advance. A further wish would be for Dyson to invent a robotic mop to complement the Heurist.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hopeless mapping software I bought the Dyson Heurist based on Dyson’s excellent reputation for vacuum cleaners. I didn’t read the reviews and wish I had done. I returned the first one I had as I believed it was faulty. It wouldn’t produce a reliable map, got lost finding the dock, didn’t know where it was half the time. Ran out of battery before it could get to the dock. Etc etc. The second one is just as bad, identical problems. After a month of correspondence with Dyson they stopped replying, so I have gone back to the shop I bought it from who won’t replace it as it beyond 30 days but have arranged for Dyson to collect for repair. DONT BUY

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic design We’ve been using a cheaper robot vacuum for the last couple of years to see if it’s suitable and concluded it was useful for us but there were some hardware issues. We decided to try the dyson, due in part to the promise of more suction but also because of the mapping features and shape. The mapping has worked perfectly for us and the shape is far more flexible than our previous robot vacuum - the other one was shorter but wider which meant it struggled getting between table and chair legs which the dyson doesn’t. Some have reported bad experiences, but our experience has been the very opposite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can’t remember the last time I vacuumed myself! I find the robot vacuum great. It works perfectly with the app, and works well around my lifestyle. Before leaving the house, I normally move any toys/stuff off the floor and get my robot to do the rest. It’d good coming home to a clean home! Carpets have never looked better, it’s a really powerful vacuum. Seems to work well with Alexa, but I don’t really use it much. The mapping is good, allows me to select particular rooms for my robot to vacuum. It occasionally wanders a little if cleaning a room, I think that’s because it’s seeking new areas of the map. So often I close the door if just cleaning one room. I’d definitely recommend if it fits your lifestyle. It’s good fun to watch too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from VERY HAPPY I’ve wanted to buy this for some time and after reading the reviews I was very hesitant to purchase it however I finally took the plunge and I’m glad I did. IF YOU FOLLOW THE SETUP INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND TO THE LETTER it does exactly as advertised just take your time and make sure your happy with the map. If there are areas with things that slow it down or confuse it remove them or set a restriction. I have no issues with my robot I just set what I want cleaned and off it goes does the job and returns to its charging dock again worth no issues.! I honestly would recommend this robot cleaner.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Dont buy. Extremely expensive. Gets lost, bumps into furniture hard. Takes half an hour trying to find its dock. Battery poor. I only have a small two bed apartment and it took 2 or 3 charges to complete a clean, if on higher power. Doesn't get near the edges of room. Shame because the suction power is good. I have returned it after a struggle. Customer service non existent. Cant get hold of anybody by phone, they dont answer emails and online chat not working. Funnily enough, when I sent an email stating I was taking legal advice, they rang the next day. Suggests previous emails ignored!
