A nuisance having to disconnect the stick
The Dyson Cyclone V10 Total Clean is a very powerful machine and for that I am very grateful. It does a wonderful job of sucking up all the debris from my carpets.
However, I am 71 years old and find the machine much heavier than the last model I had,
Also, I find having to disconnect the stick from the body very fiddly. It does not release very easily when I click the button so I have to bend over and lay it on the floor for safety and then struggle with the release button. Other than that, the machine is excellent at what it does.

Best vacuum I’ve bought.
I bought this vacuum a few weeks ago as a present to myself. I Normally vacuum about twice a week, upon receiving my Dyson and using it, I never in a million years thought my carpet trapped so much dust. I would never go back to cheap vacuums which need replacing every year. I couldn’t fault my Dyson even if I wanted to. It was worth every penny in my opinion. If you’re like me and your whole house is carpeted, I highly recommend investing in a Dyson vacuum. My kitchen and bathroom are hard floors and it works just aswell.

Love this cleaner but it still has faults
I recently purchased this Dyson V10 cordless vacuum cleaner. I have previously owned V6 and V7 animal models. All my Dyson cleaners have performed well and offer make vacuuming easy and convenient whether it is a full floor or just a spillage. However the V10 charger dock tends to 'click out' when reinserting the cleaner, this is annoying. In my opinion the V7 dock was much better designed. I have one complaint which applies to all three of the Dyson cleaners I have owned and that is that they do not pick up efficiently on the 'back stroke' meaning it is necessary to make more passes over the floor for a satisfactory result. Dyson engineers please design this fault out.

It's years since l purchased a Dyson
It's years since l purchased a Dyson machine but l wanted a cordless vacuum and was looking for a good make at a price l could reasonably afford so decided on a Dyson Easy to assemble and it picks up well good selection of tools. I am disappointed with the run time it says 40 minutes but due to the fact l have two dogs and run it on boost l am lucky to get 20 minutes run time leaving me slightly frustrated and unable to do a full house clean in on go.

Unhappy I didn’t get the small brush for car, stairs furniture etc. . Wrote to Dyson asking if there should be a small brush. No reply, disappointed.

Should have a battery system that allows a spare charged battery to to be clipped easily in place while re-charging original without having to use screwdriver to remove three screws to release battery.

Good hoover
