Favourite household appliance!
I bought this a month ago & I am so happy that I did!
It was very easy to set up, is very light, easy to manoeuvre & the attachments are great for using under / on furniture, on stairs & in small spaces etc!
The battery lasts long enough for me to clean the whole house, porch, living room, kitchen, stairs, bathroom & 2 large bedrooms & it doesn’t take too long to charge the battery.
I am impressed with the overall performance, it picks up all dirt, dust, crumbs etc, the anti hair wrap is amazing, hair doesn’t get tangled up, it’s also very easy to empty.
It’s my new favourite appliance & I would definitely recommend getting a Dyson vac!

Great all round and reliable cordless vacuum
My Gran bought the first version of the v8 many years ago and it still runs well to this day. I was looking for a cordless vacuum to help keep on top of daily messes so I went for the v8 absolute as I knew what I was getting with the Dyson. It comes with many useful attachments including the updated motorbar cleaner head with hair removal vanes and the mini hair screw tool. I have been very happy with these as there’s minimal hair tangling now with the upgraded design. The battery life works for me and the cleaning performance is fantastic for its compact size. Overall I am very pleased with the v8 so far and i’m hoping it serves me as well as my Gran’s v8 continues to serve her after many years!

Easy to use/lots of attachments
I have had my Dyson V8 for a couple of weeks and the difference is fabulous. It is easy to manoeuvre and not too heavy. Having arthritis in my hands I struggle holding any weights, but this vacuum is comfortable and the power button reacts to the gentlest of touches. I have only had to charge the vacuum once and the battery holds its power in between use. The filters work really well and there are several attachments in standard size and small so you can get into those awkward areas and also the stairs are so much easier to do. Definitely recommend.

It's a great hoover for picking up dirt, loads of different attachments, however the on button doesn't stay on, you have to keep your finger on it rhe whole time, and I have arthritis, so it hurts my fingers.

Absolutely fabulous
Loving my re union with a Dyson. Having had some of the originals both corded and uncorded since Dyson began. They have finally given up. The v8 absolute is an absolute triumph. All the attachments you could possibly need. The light weight of the machine makes a joyful return to ease of use high up especially for those spider web moments. The pick up is brilliant and the battery works well on normal mode, would love it to last longer on max mode but that’s not really an issue. Was so pleased with it I tried to get another one as a gift but they had sold out. If you see one grab it well worth the buy

Dyson V8 Absolute
Bought this hoover as my previous Dyson V7 blew up after 5 years. The Absolute has good suction, 2 power options and lots of attachments. Filtration is good. Maneuverabilty is excellent. It picks up the cat hairs well! Negatives are there is no attachment holder attached to the pole to carry around 2 of the most used attachments (like my previous one) so you have to keep carrying the ones you need or go to get them which is a little inconvenient. The dust container is not very big so you have to keep emptying it, a lot more than our previous one. Overall , it's not a bad hoover for the price.

Goes great with the price
I'm glad with the purchase. This has saved my time because of it's variety of attachments it comes with-absolute convenient for any surface and corners. The cordless design gives me freedom to move around. I can charge it anywhere I want though I feel the battery runs out quicker. The easy empty bin makes it mess free and less stressful. The high light of this product is the 'anti hair' attachment that made me easier since I have hair loss. You wouldn't regret. Highly recommend. Thank you for whoever had this idea.

Quality easy to use machine giving great results.
Amazing Performance and versatility. The machine is very light and easy to use, feels sturdy and performs very well. The emptying mechanism is a bit scary at first but after a few goes it is very straight forward. The attachments are a great selection and cover many cleaning roles and I have only needed to use a couple so far but the others are there if needed. The battery is excellent and can easily cover a top to bottom house clean. The machine is very manoeuvrable and simple to use. I have never had a Dyson before and I am very pleased so far with the results from this great machine.
