Love my V8
I love my V8 model. It holds enough charge for me to clean as much as I can physically achieve - has plenty of charge to continue beyond my health restrictions. It is light enough for me to use to its advantages .. clearing codwebs on ceilings, into corners, under furniture and stairs and picks up dirt and dust you didn’t know/see was there. Easy to handle and empty. I never had any doubt about Dyson having previously bought products and my original stick version (decades old now) is still operating somewhere else still. What more can I expect… does the job, easy to use, it lasts and bought at good/reduced price from a well known retailer. Well done Dyson.

Had it now 3 weeks it’s great easily mobile just pick it up clean up no cord to wrap light weight very happy I took the plunge . I used the small motor head to vacuum my mattress that is 3 years old I was embarrassed by the debris it picked up dead skin cells etc. now I vacuum the mattress in every linen change

Good but
I purchased a few months ago after recommendation from a friend. Certainly robust and effective. Probably would have given 5 stars if it had a lock to hold in on position, unless the lever is pressed with your hand at all times it goes off. Probably most people don’t have issue with this. It is powerful and great for cordless machine

Dyson v8
Excellent versatile hoover - great for wood, tile and carpets.. comes handy when needing to clean up the car too.
I would say - it may be worth dyson teaming up with 3m (or creating their own) durable self adhesive pads - as we bought our dyson for a new rented flat which came with the usual no drilling of holes in walls rule… I appreciate it’s easy enough to fill and “make good” a few holes after a tenancy agreement, but for the price we pay for a dyson, I’m a little supprised the geniuses haven’t thought to include adhesive stickers for the wall Mount - it would be SO SO SO helpful, and would meet the high expectations I already have for dyson as a brand.

Got this at Christmas and it is awful, the battery life is awful, the suction is awful and doesn't even lift anything. The only thing it will lift is dust, it's a pointless hoover. It has been the worst purchase and a very expensive one at that

Does what it says on the tin
I bought this hoover 6 weeks ago always had a corded Dyson but as I have arthritis decided on a cordless one review said having to hold on button down while using was difficult another said battery charge didn’t last long enough to finishing all rooms another hoover was heavy to hold , I have arthritis and have not experienced any of these it is light holding the red button to use is effortless and I hoover 6 rooms (no stairs) 5 time on a full charge ,this model is ideal if you need a hoover that is light easy to use and has a suction as good if not slightly better than a corded one ps. I have a jack russel dog who molts badly and it picks up animal hair easily
