Love this little speaker
I previously owned the JBL Flip 4, which gave up the ghost earlier this year. Thus began my search for a new device; I tried the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 2, which I found had relatively shallow sound. I also tried the Marshall Emberton, which people had boasted felt like you were at a live concert but testing it with a few bass-filled tracks left me wanting.
A friend of mine owns one of the Bose SoundLink Mini, and another owns the SoundLink Revolve. However, having listened to all of those devices, and maybe a few more, I must say, I am SUPER HAPPY with my Flip 6, and I am so glad I decided to go for it.
I was initially going to buy the Flip 5, then realised that there were rumours of a new one, so super glad I came here. I love the addition of the backlight to the panel, meaning I can clearly see the battery life and when the system is on.
I'm coming from a Flip 4, so a little bit of a jump for me. All in all, I love and recommend it - buy it, you will not be disappointed :)

Portable, solid built and budget friendly speaker
This is one of the best speakers I owned for a while now.
Speaker is highly portable, battery power is very impressive and I must say as JBL always does the quality of the make is not compromised.
I have been using this speaker on daily basis and experience had been really good. I like listening all sort of music from rock to jazz. This speaker does a justice to all sort of music.
Only thing noticed was at higher volumes you might hear bit of cracking sound.
Overall I must say its a good upgrade and great value for money.

Great little speaker
I have been looking for a speaker that is as good as this one. I was pleasantly surprised at how sharp and clear the sound is. I love all JBL products and this does no disappoint. It was so easy to set up and connect to Bluetooth. Even better you can connect more than one speaker. Extra loud! I love the design of the speaker as well, it's really good quality. I would definitely recommend!!

Perfect speaker no matter where you are
Ive only had this speaker a few weeks now but already i can say its the best Bluetooth speaker ive ever used. With it being ip67 i can take it on site at work or out and about with mates with no worries. The battery lifes impressive for the size of the speaker easily get 10-12 hours use depending on volume and the sound is amazing especially with the in-app adjustable equaliser you can set it up it for the perfect sound for any genre of music. Couldn’t be happier :)

Best Portable Speaker on the market
I was conflicted between buying a new flip, charge 5 and marshall emberton. In the end, i decided to go with Flip 6 and I am glad to say that I have made the right decision. I am literally blown away with the sound and bass quality. Having an equalizer in the app comes in handy. Turn the bass up a notch and turn treble down a notch and have the time of your life.

Big things from a small package
I’m thoroughly overwhelmed by this piece of kit.
For such a small speaker it really does make up for it in sound and base.
Recently used this at a childrens birthday party, the sound was crystal clear, even over the noise of screams and squeals of 6year olds.
I’ve never owned a JBL flip before so have nothing to compare it to of past products but I am certainly impressed with what I was given.

Distorted reality..
Having been a JBL purist for years, I have always enjoyed the quality of their products, up until this latest purchase
I was so impressed with the Flip 5 my partner was gifted last year that I thought I'd treat myself to a Flip 6 to blow away those bathtime blues...and that's where the love ended.
First impressions out of the box were very good, subtle but chunky design, felt well screwed together, solid. Setting up was a breeze too with an intuitive app, nice.
Ensuring everything was copacetic including a full charge before the maiden voyage, I fired up a few favourites and I can scarcely believe the results...
After power cycling, re-syncing, adjusting the 3 band graphic equaliser it sounded shockingly awful, ok top end, bland mid range but, completely intolerable bass distortion....and not even at a loud volume.
First product in a fair few years I've had to send back for refund, I say refund because if there is a risk of the replacement sounding this bad, I really do not want it, just have to keep nicking my girlfriend's Flip 5....which doesn't have any of these issues.

Rattling sound
I bought flip 6 one month ago and it seemed to be good until this moment when suddenly I have noticed that it started having some rattling nosie while playing any music on it. Didn't tweak any EQ settings neither in the jbl app nor in spotify. I would like to change the speaker that I have for the same one without ANY problems but the only option that I had and was given by the agent of JBL is money reimbrusement for the purchase. Would like to buy it again but has rosen up to unbelieveble amount.

Amazing bit of kit - I’m in love! ❤️
Purchased in the hope it would help sound problems in my classroom. For some reason speakers in the room are pretty useless, and when I’m playing a video everyone has to be absolutely silent or they won’t hear it! And then along comes the Flip 6! Oh. My. Days! What a difference - my students can hear everything! The power from this little sound house is in a word - brilliant! Made a HUGE difference to classes, and to my work.
Out of work, I’m using my speaker on my mobility scooter when I’m out and about. Loud enough so I can hear it, but not blasting out to annoy others. It means I don’t have to wear headphones as I trundle along! Easy to turn on/off or adjust the volume as needed. Flip is just the right size for me for all my needs! The specs are great on it, and it just looks so smart! If you haven’t given this speaker any consideration, what are you waiting for? You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing sound
I got this about 2 wks ago and WOW! This product is amazing. Seamless bluetooth connection immediately and Im not gonna lie I put on Green Day Jesus of suburbia. Im in Ireland and suprised billie joe armstrong couldnt hear me! Sound is banging and at full boot next door shud prob invest in earphone! Cracker sound and features. I wou5d relcomend tl evy1

Great sound
I bought this speaker to replace another one which would not charge. (Kitsound)
After comparing other brands I decided on this one. Has a good sound. I attach it to my cycle when going to work. Some grills to protect the end speakers would be handy, when carrying in a bag.

Beyond my expectations
I bought the flip 6 after loosing my flip 3. Which had itself been incredibly durable with surprisingly good sound quality. So I looked to get the latest model in the same line. The bass for such a small speaker took me by surprise. It seems to have greater Bluetooth range and this one no longer rolls away when on its side thanks to a little strip. Which is another thing, the attention to detail shows. Even down to the embossed logo within the speaker face.

Love it!! Great sound and volume.
I brought my speaker several weeks ago. It has fantastic sound quality, I love the colour and the volume is great too. I work as a dance teacher in a variety of venues with halls of different sizes. Even in some of the bigger ones (not for tap dancing) but it's filled the space and done the job easily. Only thing is battery life but I think that might actually be me not keeping track! Always JBL for my speakers and highly recommend this one!

Great speaker
Fantastic speaker, I wanted it for a small tv soundbar and to take work with me and it does all of those with ease. The battery didn’t last 8 hours one day but has been mostly good for battery life.
I give 4* instead of 5* only wish there was an AUX connection or secondary USB-C port so you can charge and have fed in audio at the same time as my tv isn’t Bluetooth compatible due to it being an older tv.

Powerful little speaker!
Read many reviews when looking for a portable speaker & JBL Flip 6 came out tops. Purchased a blue one & wasn’t disappointed! The sound quality is amazing- very clear & very powerful when the volume is turned up whilst still maintaining a crisp sound. Brilliant portable speaker for when your on the go. Love the metallic colour of the blue one I bought. Would highly recommend this product.

Looks and sounds amazing.
I bought this about a month ago and am really glad I did. First thing to note is the feel of it. Sturdy, great build and a good weight so it stays on the table. The rubberised feel feels perfect and the way it sits on the desk is perfect. I bought the green one and it's a lovely dark colour. The sound is full and even has nice bass (which is better than expected)

What’s better than 1 Flip 6? 2 of them in stereo!!
I actually received a flip 6 very early on to review and let me tell you I was blown away, I’ve always used Bose but not now. The flip 6 is incredible, great bass, mids are clear and well balanced and the treble is a lovely glassy compliment on top.. vocals are pronounced drums and bass are punchy .. just a delight to listen to.. anyway fast forward to July 2022 and curiosity has got the better of me and I’ve bought a second one to use them as a stereo pair.. oh my days mind blown. The separation and imagery is fantastic, something I had forgotten existed having only been listening on one speaker for so long. I feel like I’m rediscovering my music collection again... the app and set up was super easy too..
The IP rating of these is also a fantastic addition having kids that are proud to spilling drinks.. poking about with stuff and dropping things.. we spend a lot of time camping too so these just fit right in with the British weather!!

I’ve had dozens of speakers all my life and this one stands out as the best whatever size or price. Absolutely amazing, including bass even at low volume. Incredible at all volume levels. So, got this for my van as no radio. Good, easy to connect to, great size, great sound via the app that enables customisation... You want to do this! Love the green/olive colour.
Bad points, as I use this via Bluetooth everyday, the power and Bluetooth buttons are on the opposite side to the main front speaker, a tad annoying

Great Product
I am no audiophile but the sound quality on my JBL Flip 6 is crystal clear when playing music and listening to podcasts. There is no annoying hiss or buzz and everything about the Flip has a feeling of solid quality. Set up was simple and the controls are easy and intuitive. Highly recommended well designed product.

Beautiful colour and features
Bought this last month and love it. Delivery was quick and communication with courier was top notch. Love the colour aswell. Flip 6 works great for me as I travel alot and can use the app to control the base, volume etc. Which is fantastic. It fits well in my hand luggage so I can take it anywhere I want.

Nice Bluetooth speaker.
Purchased a couple of weeks ago. My wife is very happy with it. She is using it in the garden and all over the house. She is delighted with the sound quality whether she is using it at low or higher volumes.
She is using it for playing a mixture of music and playing the audio from films and TV shows.
