Great sound, great package
The JBL Tuner 2 exceeds my expectations of a small, portable radio/Bluetooth speaker. The sound quality and volume is exceptional for its size, on both speech and music and all the controls are intuitive. The display is clear and it all looks built to last.

Works well
Am pleased with this so far. Sound quality is decent. USB-C charging is great. Tunes in DAB stations without problem, and works with Bluetooth easily. It's a nice size for use in the bathroom and like the white colour. Buttons are easy to use. My only suggestion is that the buttons are coloured slightly, so that they are easier to see (I need reading glasses to see them properly), however they are large so not a big issue once you learn where they are. People complain about the display brightness, but I think it is fine.

Tuner2 vs Tuner1
My brother has first generation and I bought the second. First generation has more bass and 2 speakers and second generation 1 speaker and bass reflex not the best but hey is a radio not a boom box . Charging second generation is usb type C which is more durable than micro usb from 1 generation.I am happy with it but would have been the best if the speakers and bass reflex was kept like on the 1st generation

Wow - great sound quality!
Ordered the Tuner 2 as was looking for a USB rechargeable DAB radio for our camper van. Had the unit in my hands for an hour now and am blown away by the sound quality! Plenty of bass from such a small unit. Excellent. Easy to set up and use too. Bluetooth speaker functionality is an added bonus.

Nice compact radio
Fast easy delivery. Radio is compact but reassuringly heavy, suggesting a good build quality. Comes with a usbC cable but no plug. Charges up no problem. Easy to set up and store favourite channels. Telescopic aerial which extends to a fair length but when in a strong reception area only needs to be flipped up from the back and not extended at all so less likely to get damaged. I am no sound expert and will never need to pump up the volume but I am perfectly happy with the sound quality. I have yet to use it for any length of time so can't comment on battery length.

Not 100% refurbished
Was very happy to find a Bluetooth speaker with the added benefit of a radio. Purchased a refurbished one as the description said it would be as new but there was a dent on the front and I couldn’t be bothered with the energy of returning over the Christmas period with a lockdown so will keep it anyway. Otherwise the battery seems to last quite well although I had it on a low volume mainly and it’s easy to use and does go quite loud. I like that it has rubber feet on the bottom but you can also stand on either end. Volume can also be controlled by your iPhone.

Great sound and initial problems quickly fixed
Overall i am very impressed by this speaker/radio. Sound quality is great and the rest of the features are impressive for the cost. Had an initial problem with the DAB channel list (menu would timeout whilst scrolling through list of found stations meaning only a few could be selected). Only took a couple of days after contacting customer service to receive a firmware update which fixed the problem.

Excellent radio and speaker
This is a great radio with an excellent built-in bluetooth speaker. It's easy to switch from a radio show to listening to an audio book etc on your phone. For future versions I suggest making the controls easier to see - they are embossed on the white surface and are hard to make out in a dim light. Also please put the on/off switch on top rather than at the side. A final suggestion is to incorporate a bar to which a small carrying strap could be attached.
