Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks nice Looks nice but don't like the aerial that sticks out the back, looks like an afterthought. Build quality could be better. The button layout is good I like the volume knob although I keep going to turn it to scroll though stations or settings, maybe should be on the left side of the LCD. lock button is useful for when traveling. DAB sensitivity is great and FM is decent. Overall Audio quality is ok although can sound a bit boxy Headphone output works great stereo on all sources Sleep timer fades the audio before the radio turns off. Time can be automatically set from dab or FM but it has to be one or the other, shame it doesn't just use whatever band you are on. Bluetooth is SBC but audio quality is fine on the built in speaker and headphones Overall a decent radio although feels cheap for the price, I would recommend the play20 over the rambler mini as it has more features, better sound, much more durable, also can use replaceable AA rechargeable batteries that will be charged by the radio. Just doesn't have the retro looks.

The date and time can only be accessed through either FM or DAB so if you set one and then switch on in the other date and time do not update. A faff to get round this. No battery charge indicator only a last minute warning of no charge if you happen to see it. This means you have to get have a schedule for recharging if you want to listen without interruption!

One star off for the infernal on line instructions. I have finally found one station and it will have to stay on that until a small child can come and fix me up with some more stations

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mini Rambler I accept this is a cheaper Robert’s but poor sound and feels cheap. Poor set up instructions and need antenna up a lot to get signal. I have had better cheaper radios and it’s shame as I always wanted to own a Robert’s radio.
