JBL have done a brilliant job with the model, the price is very competitive and the specifications fit, all the needs required for the user experience.
I have been confidently using the The JBL sound Bar for 4 weeks now. It has given me an amazing experience when watching movies and playing music, the fast Bluetooth connection and amazing Dolby Atmos sound quality brings the cinema sound right to your home, The built in wireless connection for the sound bar to the bass box is very unique and makes setting up so easy and precise.
I would highly recommend purchasing the JBL BAR 500 5.1 Wireless Sound Bar.
In my opinion the Sound bar offers brilliant quality for the price and is adaptable to the size of your home.
Congratulations to JBL. This is an amazing wireless Sound bar .

It's a pure source of joy
Just bought this for Christmas: really impressed with the sound experience and value for money.
Tried it with music on Spotify, TV, cinema: all great - quality, clear sound, amazing bass but not too aggressive. Loved the app: you can set up your personalised EQ and easy calibration for surround sound in your room. It's a pure source of joy if you're looking for an affordable all-in-one easy sound system!

A great device
I'm straight in love. A really great device. The initial installation and setup was very easy. Thanks to the quickly installed app, everything went smoothly. The connection to the TV and the associated devices such as satellite receivers, Blueray players and games consoles was extremely easy. The connection to mobile devices such as mobile phones, tablets or PCs can also be quickly solved by everyone.
The sound is more than convincing, especially the bass. Watching TV is fun and the films on DVD come across very differently.

Really great overall sound package
I was always skeptical about spending so much money on a TV sound system, but this year I dared to do it.
The soundbar with subwoofer offers good bass, which I actually can't turn to the fullest level, otherwise my whole apartment vibrates: I like it very much.
The surround sound also offers a really great result, which really sounds like premium sound, especially with films that were designed for it.
I particularly like the fact that it is WiFi-capable and that I can easily control it as a WiFi speaker from my cell phone, e.g. on Spotify.
In any case, this works without any problems and the automatic switch-on as soon as the TV is switched on works perfectly.
Overall, the soundbar with subwoofer is already in a higher price segment, but it is still worth it for this price.

So great soundbar
I started to use the JBL Bar 500 soundbar nearly last mont and I've been impressed with its performance. We had a sound bar for our TV before but we needed to changed it. There was only one choice for us for JBL.
The design of JBL Bar 500 is modern and simply. Looks so well at our living room. Remote control is intuitive. The audio quality is so clear and at very high level. Definitely like to cinematic feel at my movies nights. I highly recommended to anyone looking for great soundbar at average price.

Great setup. So straightforward to install.
When this arrived I had reservations, upon taking it out of the box. It didn't seem big enough to make a difference. We had lived without external sound for some years after our previous setup broke. Living with only internal tv sound has made this review easy to write.
The sound is incredible. You can hear a lot of the background noises that you don't get from the tv. The depth of sound is excellent. There's no tinny sounds from the soundbar.
This also worked with our relatively old TV which in my book is excellent as I don't need to upgrade my TV to experience great sound.

The JBL Bar 500 is very good for mixed use. This versatile soundbar delivers clean, clear sound. I loved testing it in films, I feel like I'm in the cinema, I can't say that in a larger environment it will have the same effectiveness, but in my living room it was perfect. It also has an environment correction tool at hand, its sound is optimized according to the exclusive acoustic characteristics of your living room. It also supports most common audio formats.
