Everything gets the surround sound treatment on the BRAVIA 8 - even 2ch audio is upscaled to 5.1.2ch quality! 3D Surround Upscaling creates virtual sound from above and the sides using just the TV speakers. With Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support, you can experience the thrill of 360 Spatial Sound equipment too.

Simultaneous Audio Output(2) is a new feature that allows you to hear sound from the TV and a connected Bluetooth device at the same time. The 360 Spatial Sound Mapping(1) found on Sony latest soundbars works by creating multiple phantom speakers around you in a cinematic layout. Nothing short of revolutionary, it allows you to bring true movie theatre entertainment home.

Acoustic Center Sync(2) turns your TV into the centre speaker of your home theatre set-up. This is incredibly more immersive, with sound coming from where the action is on-screen, rather than solely below the TV from the soundbar.

With its integrated UI(3), a BRAVIA Theatre promises effortless, easy control. Adjust your sound system's volume, sound field, and more, straight from your TV remote via the BRAVIA Quick Settings menu. Design

More than just a slimline TV, the BRAVIA 8 is designed to take centre stage in your living room. Sony designers have carefully constructed a statement piece to blend harmoniously with your home interior, as well as matching accessories, such as Sony soundbars.

Sony 4-way stand gives you the flexibility to choose between an outside position for large surfaces, an inside position for smaller shelves, and two different soundbar positions. Comprised of thin, flat steel with a metallic hairline finish, it looks great in any environment (and from any angle) but can also be cleverly concealed - place a Sony soundbar on top and it virtually disappears(1)!

UX

Access over 10,000 apps and games on this Google TV(1), with everything organised and recommended based on your personal interests. Voice Search(2) allows you to find new content super quickly - simply press the voice button on your remote and say something like "find action movies"(3)!.
