Niche product. Great for quiet environments.
I got these earphones for my daily bike commute and long cycles. I did a bit of research online for open-ear earphones and these came up often. I had previously tried bone-conducting earphones but when on the bike, anywhere over 20 km/hr makes them really difficult to hear at all.
Now, Sony Linkbuds seem to offer a very interesting solution, it works way better than bone-conducting but wind noise is still pretty high.
I'm giving it 3 stars and I know it may be unfair but my biggest issue with them is fit, apparently I have a weird shaped ear that is not that compatible with the way these earphones are secured in place, my girlfriend and a couple of friends tried them and they fit them perfectly.
I tried them at the office and they're brilliant, I can listen to music on a very low volume and hear if someone talks to me, plus their pause to talk feature is amazing, as soon as I start speaking they auto-pause and resume playback 15 seconds after I stopped talking.

Sony Lost Common Sense in pursuit of Innovation
I bought LinkBuds 4 days ago and I have tried my best to fit them in my years with all possible ways found in the internet. But left with sore ears as they don't fit at all. It doesn't serve the basic purpose. This shouldn't be treated as earbud as it is something speacial device made for very few people with LARGE ears. If there is a way to return it, I would love to do it. I spent my hard earned money for such a useless thing and there is no way I can return it due to hygiene reasons. If you think this is out of the box innovation then you should let the people return if they don't like it. Please do some basic testing prior taking the product to public. Overall I would say you you are selling a brom stick for the people looking to but a drone and claiming the broomstick will fly if you sit on it in a specific angle.

Great for the right use case
These earbuds are very good for when you need to keep some awareness of your surroundings while listening to music, so absolutely pointless in noisy settings or if you need a good audio quality. Features and the general user experience are good, but they could be a bit more comfortable.

Comfortable, sounds great
These earbuds are very comfortable and have great sound quality while still being able to hear what's going on around you. They come with 5 pairs of 'fitting supporters' that allow you to swap out the band around the earbud with a larger or smaller fitting to best suit your ear. Overall they feel comfortable when wearing for long periods, and feel no less secure than other earbuds that they won't fall out. Sound quality is good, Bass could be better, but really I got these so I can still hear things around me like traffic, seems to do the job so far!

Very comfortable and good quality sound. Had previously been using Google Buds. These are more comfortable. You can hear what's going on around you while the music is sounding perfect in your ear! Some great extra too.
